Rob took his 20+ years of TV industry experience, everything from producing major network news shows to his Emmy-award winning coverage of the London Olympics, and launched On-Air Studios in 2016 with the support of his wife and business partner, Kelly. Great ideas only see the light of day with a savvy business leader like Kelly who tackles everything from taxes and accounting to legal and HR – and let’s not forget, supports Rob’s ideas.
Big Dreams
Rob and Kelly created an infrastructure and found their niche: they secured consistent corporate clients in need of weekly web shows! From there, the growth was tremendous.
Using sophisticated and cutting edge technology, On-Air Studios started delivering the ability to interview, record, create video from wherever, whenever. They now record all over the country.
The team has grown to keep up with their vision and demand on creating and delivering professional videos to an array of clients and their diverse audiences.
Kelly and Rob live in Lehigh Valley with their 4 young children. They run a family business and are amazing partners who work hard, strive for success, and are dedicated to their clients.
Rob Melick
President
rob@melickconsulting.comRob, an Emmy-award winning producer directed some of the most recognizable TV daytime and primetime shows ever (such as Meet the Press, Fox News Sunday) on major networks (from MSNBC to Fox).
His specialty is in directing and technical background and everything that entails.
That means, he’s expertly skilled in remote and studio productions in all formats, multi-camera live, and pre-taped. Rob has deep knowledge in video production, live TV, content development, switcher, graphics, lighting, set design and implementations.
Kelly Melick
Managing Partner

With a degree in business and a strong accounting background, Kelly has a sharp eye for detail. As a driven, goal-oriented business professional, she makes sure clients’ expectations are met and exceeded so that our creatives can stay focused on what they do best.
Justin
Production Assistant
Justin focuses on video production and modern audio visual technology, especially, producing creative content and finding new ways to convey online media. Justin particularly enjoys working on motion graphics and editing. His super power is finding new ways to exercise his creative freedom.
Scott
Television Technician
Scott is a musician and audio engineer that joined AOA as a mobile studio operator. He has expansive and growing experience in the industry from remotely creating sound design for games to managing live events. Scott’s passionate about creating a comfortable environment for clients while producing high quality content.
Thomas
Television Technician
Thomas is a television technician with expertise in technology and graduated from WVU. Thomas is a big sports fan and enjoys a good soccer match.
